   Jul 30,  · After much anticipation, former Pantera bassist Rex Brown’s solo album is finally. Smoke On This showcases the musician’s many sides. He plays bass and guitar as well as taking lead vocals. While his past with heavy metal shines through, the album is also heavily influenced by classic rock acts ranging from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin.

   Jul 14,  · The track is taken from Rex’s debut solo album, Smoke On This, which will be released on July 28 via Entertainment One (eOne). The disc marks the first time Brown serves as both lead vocalist and guitarist in a band. For Buried Alive, Rex re-teamed with Justin Reich (Zakk Wylde, Ace Frehley), who also directed the video for “Train Song.”.

   When I volunteered to review SMOKE ON THIS by REX BROWN, I had no idea what was in store for me. Sure, I dig PANTERA – I’m from Dallas, Texas and if you don’t like PANTERA, there’s a special place in Metal hell for you, or so I’m barcountfitmaduseshoyracalromarda.coinfo I do like early stuff like “CEMETERY GATES” and “WALK”, and all the other songs that are played religiously here.
